What /wheels/tires do you guys suggest for running around on the street? I'd like to find something fairly cheap (if possible) so I can just drive around for fun, doing slides, and burnouts. If you have a link of where to get them, please post it!

The stock tires that come with the Ofna GTP2e are great for that
Check on ebay for a good price. The foam inserts are a pain to install but otherwise will work well for just what you want.

Running on your street is like off-roading for GT cars. I picked up a set of OFNA wide tires. They are wider obviously, but they are also a little taller giving you a little more room underneath for the un-level terrain of most surface streets.

Those look awesome, where did you get em? Do you have a link by chance?

Thanks for the other replies as well. I thought about using offroad tires cause I am converting my RC8 to on-road and have lots of offroad tires. Didn't know how (if any) traction would be? Would this be a bad idea?

Here's one link, you can find them elsewhere as well.
http://www.rcplanet.com/Ofna_Wide_St...p/ofn85021.htm

These are great for street action and they look great (I use them in posed photos of the car), but on the track they are not nearly as good as some sweeps or any true racing tire... even after you warm them up. But they will last a long time.

Not sure about off-road tires. Lot's of body rub from the ballooning I would guess. (??)
