I've got the white (med) springs in the front and red (soft) in the rear. You will hear many different setups and it's all based on previous experience, track size, etc. I'm always trying out something different and listening to what others have to say. I guess eventually, I'll find a happy medium. It's all trial and error. Good Luck!

I'm geared at 17/48 and I'm running a Tekno Traktion Drive with mechanical brakes. Why......it puts less strain on my drive train and it helps with keeping temps lower. It's going to come in handy once the temperatures hit 3 digits in the next coming months. I go up to Corona and it gets hot as heck there.

Don't really too much on my info, there are much better folks on here that can provide you with some info regarding gearing, shock oil and diff oils. I just felt compelled to answer since no one was chiming in with info.

Fangs are you running a castle blower fan?

we are still cooler here but geared much higher for our track

20-23 pinion.

at 17/48 it would take a year to cover our strait.

......

shock oil is 45 on all 4 corners for my car

....and here I thought I was going real fast. No Castle Blower required with my gearing and I've only been racing on small tracks. I usually finish in the middle of the pack. I'm still trying to keep my rig on the track.
