First off it a lot lighter and for the price you can't beat it.
To me it handle just as good as DM1.

That's funny Jeff, but you're right, I will see the rear, every couple laps when I come up behind you. Don't worry though, the Losi has a real gentle, foam front bumper.....should just scoop you up and be gone.

Did you beat the old man Saturday?

No, I failed it was going to be a good race.

2:30 in or 3 mins in my car dumped, best I can figure is one of the packs was never charged or never took a charge.

We are doing 8 min races and that is working out very very well.

Lots of setup and tires to keep working and trying.

I was clocked at 57.4mph I think on the radar gun.

Missed TQ by about half a second

TQ was like 19 laps 8:13.6(maybe)
I ran a 19 8:14.3(something like that)

8 min races are fun.

Tq fastest lap was 24.322 first round
Mine fastest lap was 24.526 third round

A picture of my car giving chase waiting for the tires to warm up.

Any ideas what caused them to feather? once they do this they dont work.

I thought his car looked really stable in the first two rounds. Then as the track warmed up his tires went away or his set-up changed? Not sure since I didn't talk to Russ much about it. He did mention he thought the foam on the track from the foam tire cars might have been a issue also?

Lon,

Without actually talking with him, I believe you're on the right track with the changes in track temps. As you know from last year running with our slicks, once you figure out the correct shores you're hooked.

Are you gonna run GT this year too?

Well I put my new front bumper on the car tonight so thats one step closer. I'd like to run the gas car with the electric class once to see who is faster

The electric Gt cars can go pretty fast, got a friend down here that's running 119mph. No joke they're fast, just a matter of them dialing in to run low lap times on the tracks.

Glad you're thinking of making a come back!

My buddy Vector was clocked at 57.4mph this weekend on the track, and last year our top speed award was 56 and some change for the gas cars so thats close enough for them to race on the same track IMO.

I'm curious to see the laptimes for nitro vs electric running at the same time on the track. From what I have observed/experienced, although the top end during race conditions are similar, the acceleration favors the electric cars.

I also believe that the firmer shore ratings will help tremendously for hooking up with the GT8E cars. I believe they will be available soon. I can't wait to try them.
