There are 2 Aston bodies. One that fits the igt and a longer one that fits the igt2.

IMO, stay away from the Aston.. It was the worst handling body for gt. Zero down force in front... I lost count how many times the front nose came up on high speed runs and the car skid upside down half way down the street lol

I have tried their Turnigy brand and am satisfied with them. I have them in my planes as well as cars. I also just ordered the turnigy life batteries from hobby king.

Also check out hobbypartz.com . They're based out of California and have similar prices to hobbyking, less the expensive shipping charges. The only problem is that their hard case car lipos sell out quickly.

I've been looking around my LHS for 3cell LiPos, and the highest ones they have are 5500 25C. Is 25C going to cut it, or do I need to look for one with a higher C rating?

Right now a lot of us are running single speed because we're on smaller 10th scale tracks. I'm just running a solid spool, a few other are running a center diff with Kyosho 500,000 wt oil, and another guy was using 100,000 wt oil. If you're running a center diff, I wouldn't run anything less than 100K.

Matthew, do you have a pic of your solid spool I can see? I want to have this option on the fly. Is this for your DM1 or IGT?

Don't know about the IGT. For my DM-1 it's actually not a real spool, it's the 2-speed taken down to just the one gear, so it's really a one way. I'm actually going to take it out and put in a 500k diff though, they seam to drive better/smoother this way.

My car has a spool (Inferno GT). This is what I used:

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXNWS7&P=7

It required a slight mod, the pin slot was not properly centered (a friend fixed with a mill. It fits in the center diff cup, replacing the gears. I can use any spur gear (including plastic, recomended) Kyosho makes.

So far it has been bomb proof with a big 2200KV Mamba Monster system in the car.

Here is a pic, not much to see though.
