Thanks Paul. I suppose that it may never be equal, but maybe we can at least make things "interesting"

They can compete and some hot shoe with one could certainly make it "interesting". For me I need all the help I can get!

I have seen some guys break out the fwd cars and run in the GT based class locally, with surprising results. I never thought they would be all that hooked up but they seem to do really well.

Those look freaking sweet! If you could figure a way to get the rears to light up when you hit the brakes, that would be righteous!

At our track (www.RCARINDY.com), there are about 6 Nissan 350Z HPI bodies running (190mm) and probably just as many Honda NSX's. I have the 350Z body. It fits my TC5 really well. Especially the front nose bumper. The radius is identical.

I installed a set of RAM lights. They plug right in to the RX. As I understand it, they take a teeny tiny amount of power to operate. Not a concern.

USGT rules update
*FWD weight reduction
"4wd 1450g weight Fwd 1200g weight" - FWD cars are very light to start with, and also at a disadvantage to 4wd cars anyway. Let's make this interesting

Your genius continues to impress Rob. Perhaps a Serpent 411ff is in my future. Do you require a fwd body on FWD cars?

Why not loose the FWD weight restrictions all together?

Tamiya, TOP and Serpent all have promising FF contenders.

Just finished this USGT body for the big Hurricane All Stars race tomorrow at www.RCARINDY.com. Hoping to sell this one to build the old hobby stash.

Its an HPI Dodge Viper in the 190mm width. Faskolor yellow and Parma decals along with the HPI one's. Painted window frames and faux carbon fiber hood. Should look good on the track!

I've been following this thread for a while...
We started racing our own flavor of the RCGT/USGT series, called Gran Turismo (like the videogame).

Here's some pictures of the bmw team.

cheers all
