I think I might've caused Eric to respond to this. I posted the question about it being 205mm on their Facebook page. Eric contacted me about it and I directed him to this thead.
I don't know about you guys, but I have always loved Protoform bodies. Add attention to customers and quick response to questions, and it has only solidified my opinion of them. Thanks, Eric. :-)

Looks good PF guys!

Now bring back the Corvette body!!! or maybe redo it to fit 190mm that would be even better.

I have run the HPI Nissan GTR body and it was good overall with a neutral feeling. Not as much steering as the Porsche or rear grip with the flat wing design IMO.

The HPI BMW M3 GTR body was a disaster with very little rear grip I believe due to the stylish Tuner Style wing. I would like to try it again with a lexan wing like I have on the Porsche and see how it handles.

Another racer is using the HPI Acura NSX body with very good results in our 21.5 USGT class.

Here is the NSX that SS is talking about...
Does well on the track, I think that it feels balanced... also pretty low compared other bodies.

That's a shame. Loved the look of this, but might pass now. 197 is a lot closer to 200, than it is to 190. Especially considering my LTC-R is only 193mm, my Tamiya shell is 190, the Audi is 185 and my Tamiya 417v5 is only 180 at the top of wheels (with 2deg camber).

Hi,

Is there a place with an official list of allowed bodies and rules for the USGT class?

Thanks,

To HPI and PF, a 69 Firebird, a 70 Camaro, and a 69 Mercury Cougar in 200mm would be AWESOME!! (guess I should post this on the VTA thread, huh?)

Those have all been requested multiple times. So you are not alone, but you are not the first either.

We had a guy try one. It can't be geared to the same straight speed as the 4wd cars but he ran well because of the corner speed it can carry due to the lighter weight restriction. In the end he didn't like it as much as a 4wd platform. I had a hard time passing it though. it drove very smooth and like I said quick in the corners.
