Thanks ,I thought it might have been a Frewer body. I have a Nissan GTR body of theirs that I like.

Yeah, I thought the same thing about the new C7-R.

Why are my photobucket links not showing up as pics?....why do I have to click on these non-images to see the pics?

Seems as though Photobucket has done a huge crackdown on everyone. All my pics on the other forums I frequent are taken down as well. Just upload your photos on RCTech. That's what I've started to do.

Someone else posted this - can't recall who, but there's a simple solution.
- Attach images to your post
- preview your post and open the attachments in new tabs
- copy the URL of your attachment and insert it as an image in your post as you would a Photobucket URL.

I tried it and it worked a treat - R/C Tech Forums - View Single Post - Bittydesign 1/10 TC 190mm bodyshells!

Having run several bodies in USGT, the Caddy being my go to, I have a new love.

The PF Vette is SUPER stable on the straight, dives in great and the rear seems to rotate better in a smoother way. It just seemed easier and smoother to drive to me.

hope it's okay if i could ask for further details on the P-Zero specifically on handling characteristics. And if possible, compare the handling characteristics of it to the NSX 2007 of Tamiya?

Not running USGT but some races in Asia for 17.5T blinky have certain body rules (race bodies such as PF, bittydesign, montech aren't allowed) that should be in 1:10 scale and I'm looking for an equal or better alternative to the NSX.

thanks in advance.

I have a question for you USGT guys. I am currently bashing a TT02 and having a ball. 99% of the time I run it at the High School Tennis courts and set up a make shift course using field markers. The tennis court are pretty slick and dusty so traction is not what you would expect but it is pretty smooth. I run two different bodies, the first is the Tamiya Carrera RSR body and for that I am using a staggered wheel set up with the USGT/Ride tires, the second body is the Suzuki SX4 WRC Rally body and on that I am running a square wheel set up with the Ride 26MM Radials. The SX4 feels like it handles a bit better and I wonder it the rear wing is the cause as it feel much less tail happy at speed. What I am curious about is if there would be a drastic difference in handling going with something like the P-Zero, C7, or CTS bodies or some of the GT style tamiya bodies like the NSX or something like that?

P.S. I have played a bit with the set up of shocks, springs, pre-load, and toe to get where I am. I have some full scale racing experience so I do have a basic understanding of set ups.

Thanks.

Cheers,
Jim

Yes, bodies play a huge role in handling. But you can generally offset those with changes in setup. When do you notice that your back end is getting loose? Slowing down for turns? Speeding up in corners?
