Why would the van be illegal? I ran one with the HPI plastic wing on it and liked it actually.

I looked and looked and looked, but I couldn't find anywhere where a Honda Odyssey minivan was ever entered in a GT race.

I thought the rule was that the body couldn't be on the ROAR T2 list, not that it had to a raced GT car.

True. Club racing I can't see that it matters. In fact, at 21.5 speeds, it probably doesn't at all, anyway. Either way, the 'spirit' of the class is 'real race cars'. I was just looking to do something different. I'm sure if someone wanted to get snarky about it, they would try to read something about no vans in the 'no trucks' rule.

True, I just can't see where it would be ANY kind of an advantage, but would be fun to see some out there. I'll have to see if i can dig up the pictures of mine, I ran it at the last HPI challenge we had in Dayton.

On one hand I would say that aerodynamics make a difference always, even at slow speeds and even if that differrence is not noticeable. It is there.

That however would not stop me from running a sports car body among the Saleens and McClarens or for that matter run a VTA shell on my USGT chassis. I don't think its enough of a difference for me to not run whatever I want for the sake of handling.

Is this the Tamiya cockpit that fits:
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXYJA5&P=7

What about Pro-Line Pro Driver:
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXAVEK&P=7

Now these cockpits fit all RCGT/USGT bodies or will that just depend?

I think its which ever you like or what size the body that you like comes in. I have used both and one doesnt work better then the other.
