I am familiar with the Kamtec body. I'm not willing to pay $50+ for a single body. I've been trying to get in touch with them about combining shipping through their Ebay site, but Ebay won't allow it. I've reached out to them on their website multiple times, but they haven't responded. Compared to the level of detail and quality of a ProtoForm body, the pics of the Kamtec bodies don't compare......but thanks. :-)

eBay doesn't give me any issues calculating combined shipping on the Kamtec Body. If you clicking the shipping tab it states the shipping to the US as GBP 15.00 + 2.50 for each additional. It gave me a shipping price of GBP 17.50 when I clicked "buy it now" with a quantity of 2 bodies, so it works as it should.

Used to work with an MD with Alopecia, so the term was familiar. For better social acceptance, had to change a favorite exclamation of frustration to "Like a simian copulating an air-filled bag of porcine epidermis!"

Looking to maybe try USGT when I can't run 17.5 touring. I always have loved the GT cars.

As far as a motor goes, have any of you guys run the Turnigy Trackstar 21.5? I don't want to spend too much as I won't be running it as a primary class. But I've heard some good reviews about their other winds. I've personally never ran one though. Would this be a good option, or should I scrounge the for-sale threads?

A Trackstar 21.5 won the USVTA Scale Nats at Harbor Hobbies last year.

I don't run it but I have a hard time keeping up with some guys that do and those guys are pretty competitive with those $150 hand built motors. IMO for a second class, it is a great motor for the price. Most are running max timing and have the FDR at or near 3.0.

I ran the Turnigy Trackstar 21.5 in my USGT last season and it is a great motor! It has a very good balance of Torque and RPMs. I also stays very cool.

I recommend the Trackstar 21.5 to anybody running USGT.

This is good news as I picked up a Trackstar 21.5 for the TB04 I'm currently building for USGT

Awesome! Thanks for the fast responses regarding the motor everybody! As far as a body I'm leaning towards the Tamiya Audi R8 painted up in my favorite color (Orange!), like my favorite World Challenge driver Mike Skeen: That or a Kpax McLaren on the new Protoform body. I'll definitely post up some pics when I finish.

+1
The Kpax McLaren would look awesome on the new Protoform PFM-10 body.
