The problem is not front to rear tire wear difference, but left to right wear. We have a double sweeper layout and the left side tires wear more than the right.

my fronts wear out faster then rear, also at most tracks one side will wear faster then the other ... always more left or right turns on a track depending on layout and direction.

At $15 a set not worried about rotating them to extend the life by a little, also rotating changes the way they handle untill they wear in again.

I have run these tires and swapped them all around and I can't tell a difference.

Same here, indoor on CRC carpet, outdoor on asphalt, I find no perceptible change in handling depending on tread direction. The balance remains the same even if I only swap one end side to side.

And I finally had a set give up on grip... they were from last year! Mostly run on carpet, three days on asphalt. They still had plenty of rubber left, so I gave them to a newbie to run in our Breakout class, with instructions to run the worst pair on the front for stability.

I don't worry rotating for the same reason. But when I tried swapping thread direction, lap times told the difference.

Lap times?? What are lap times? I'm more worried about being a rolling roadblock than lap times.

LOL... Lap times are overrated. All they do is remind me of how inconsistent I am.

If RJ is inconsistent, then I'll have to go back and race with the novice racers.

At The Gate we have been running 15 minute mains in preparation for the Tuning Haus Party race in two weeks. 15 minutes with two pit stops makes it real interesting. No problem with run time or motor temps. If you guys want to try something different give it a shot. We do this in USGT, VTA and F1.

I'm not a fan of the pit stops, if I wanted to do that then I'd run nitro

Here's a better idea, how about you have each driver jog one lap around the track, and make THAT your pit stop!

Have you ever noticed the condition of a lot of racers. A jog around a track may kill someone

kinda sad really, regardless my vote is to leave pit stops for nitro unless we run a 30 min main and have to swap out a battery pack... but pushing a button and waiting for a light to turn green is plain silly to me, I get about the same amount of excitement as waiting at a stop light when driving home from the track... woo hoo...

Having pit stops plays more into stategy of the race, and not who has the best or fastest car. I have been to UF1 races, and planning "when" to pit has a lot to do with the outcome of the race. With the longer race format, you can overcome mistakes, made early in a run.
