Haha, this is true! I ordered a different body, that ZL1 isn't suiting my likings, and I'm not going to put anymore time into it.

I just finished this Pagini Zonda this past weekend. The scheme was suggested by IndyRCRacer and the Italian colors couldn't be a better fit for this body! I really like the way it turned out! Probably will sell it, but I would love to see it run on my local track too.

Some history on the Zonda if you are interested: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pagani_Zonda

Yes you can with RIT dye. Rim color has to be lighter then the dye color. So white rims work best for whatever you want. Plenty of "How To" videos on youtube. Just make sure you don't put them in when the water is boiling or you could warp them.

Here is a picture of mine I just did for the nationals race this weekend.

I did some stickers for the McAllister #211 Jaguar XKR Body. Some of the AZ guys have been using this body in their USGT type class (I say TYPE because I don't fully know their rules)

A few pages back people were questioning the legality of running it... That is why I said that. It is a real GT car unlike some bodies people use, so its all good.

Looks perfect for the class to me.

I agree it fits the class. Rockstar Paint does amazing paint/graphics too. He helps me with some of my paint work and with my cars at the track. Good guy.

My son is running a Tamiya RX-7 body in USGT. They are a little more pricey than HPI typically, but somehow the Tamiya lexan seems a little softer and more forgiving I think?

To say "it fits the class" is preposterous. The class is United States Grand Touring. While Grand Touring is somewhat subjective (two door, four door, hard top, soft top) in NO WAY can it be construed to mean purpose built racing prototypes (Riley, Corvette Daytona, etc...).

Not no way, not no how.

Even the low volume supercars (Pagani, McLaren, etc...) are pushing it.

The fact is, the GT part of USGT is irrelevant to the powers that be.

That's fine. We can move on... provided no one says "it fits the class".
