Hi, Just completed my body of the Honda HSV-010 for the USGT season at my
local track. Had to use the Tamiya Wide version as my Kyosho TF-5S is a 200mm
chassis. Enjoy and regards

Very nice Norman. That must have taken you a while to sticker up right?

Hi, Just a couple of hours but you have to be patient. Lucky that the painting
was relatively simple. The hardest body I have ever done is this one of the
DTM Audi A4

Hi Nut Driver, Track is Hobby Connection at Easley, SC about 1 1/2 hours
from here. There have been very little on road activity as they also have
an Oval paved track where almost all activity takes place for NASCAR cars
and NASCAR Trucks. In summer I go and rent the on rad track for the day
and practice or race with friends, My time is now taken up with Olympic
Archery so I won't be racing this year but doing some bashing at the Go Grocery
Parking lot. I will let you know. Frankly I have gotten tired of painting new
bodies and wrecking them at the track so I am just going to keep the nice bodies and shelf them. Attached photo of track. Regards
Norman.

Is that the track in its current condition or is that an old pic? I raced TC there years ago, but have heard the track has been let go to the elements.

Norman it's sad to hear that there is not much on road racing there. I got out of it before because of cost, but things have gotten a lot better. I think a person could race on road very cheaply at the club level now. It would really be nice to see on road return to it's hay day here in the states.

Norman,

All of the pipes at The Hobby Connection in Easley have been removed. They are working on building a dirt oval on top of the asphalt pad that was the road course. Another RCTech member and I had taken our F1 and VTA cars down there to drum up some interest a good while back. AARCobra had fixed the pipes and secured them. He had some issues that kept him from going to the track for a while. While we were gone (a period of months), the plans for that area were changed by the owner. I wish that they hadn't done it, but I don't own it and I can't blame them for doing something that they feel might bring in more revenue.
