Come to Klunk's Korner to see the red can version. I believe red has replaced silver for no apparent reason. I assume that the latest (red can) was submitted and technically silver would not be included as it is an earlier version but maybe not. HK's have only been banned in the UF1 series as far as I know for H.S.W.R. You'll be just fine in Northwood with any color can when/if you race. I know you got diapers to change. Lol

"Limiting suspension droop has another interesting effect: you can use it to reduce traction rolling. Often it's a better solution than using stiffer springs and harder tires, it's even better than reducing ride height or adding anti-roll bars. " (both of which reduce traction)
I read this as by decreasing droop you can take traction away which would and can make the rear loose on entry due to less traction. Obviously there is a point where you can have too much droop and thus loose traction too.
On my Spec R it doesnt like full droop but it also doesnt like 2.5 droop so I am about 4 right now and it feels good and planted. Since these tires are not as grippy or rounded as the normal TC type tires i think they work better with weight transfer. But to each his own, its a simple test that can be reversed quite easily!!

Here's the new body I did for my son's USGT car. Its a PROTOForm Camaro ZL1 and he said he wanted a "Metallica" body. He's got good taste in music! More pictures in the custom paint thread.

Its mounted on his Associated TC6. The Metallica Black album snake is on the hood. Just got to get James Hatfield scaled down inside!

Now that's some nice paint! Very impressive! I was curious about how you was gonna do a Metallica theme paint job. That would also look good with some electric blue lightening bolts flowing across it ( Ride the Lightening album ).
Have you driven the Camaro body yet? If so, how does it handle/feel?

I'm new to this GT class and just got some tires. With the directional tread pattern you now have a left set and right set. Has anyone noticed a difference when reversed or are these tires like the HPI VTA tires where when the tread is not seen they're starting to be broken in?

VTA tires take a few runs to break in then with traction drugs they are good for several race days. They reach a point when they become too soft/thin and roll over too far making ill handling. Once the tread is gone they are junk at out track for competition and probably illegal at most tracks. I believe this is partially due to the high profile/ballon style VTA tire design.
I have tried 3 different USGT tires and some do and some do not require a break in period but they are no where close to becoming a slick tire to perform.
