I am picking up one of these HPI Porsche 190mm body for RCGT and retiring my Tamiya M3 GTR2009 BMW body.

It works and the comes with a functional rear wing.

That's a good body I have one I don't race it but its very stable in the parking lot I run a 20T motor with my TA-01 chassis. HPI also has the GT, GT1 and GT3 bodies you might wanna check them out too. They all fit the TA-05.

Interesting thread !

What realistic bodies have decent downforce ? I am running an HB Subaru Impreza and to be honest I got bored with these Mazdas, Stratus , .... They all look the same. We run a 13 T brushless class in Croatia so no extreme speeds

you hit the point my friend.

i can't even recognise difference between protoform shell from far!

a number of racers over my side are using Arta Garaiya, Lambo Murcie, Nsx, Ferrari. All of them certainly looks better than those shell not to mention the grip which is surprisingly good.
