I know the yellow rim Yokomo ones are good and they are like the coolest looking. But how about everything else? CRC, Gravity RC, BSR, Ulti, Jaco, etc.

Considering the one for sale above.
The stock axle/hubs for the R12C3.1 use a different offset such that the hubs mount to the middle of the wheel, roughly, rather than the 2 or 3 mm offset you see with other manufacturers. As such, you either need to use Yokomo wheels, or you need to swap out the axle. The 3mm offset hubs from IRS work great, or you can use the TOP axle and hub and be well under-width with plenty of room to work with.

So offset as in towards the inside edge of the wheel?

So if you put the other wheels on this Yokomo with Yokomo axle they would stick out like the picture below when the kids on drugs do their real cars up? LOL

Yes, IRS is a nice piece of kit. I highly recommend their products and you wont be disappointed.

I would also look into getting some Square RC mirror differential rings. They are not only a thing of beauty, the performance is second to none.

Yes, if you could mount other wheels on the yokomo hubs (you can't), the car would be really wide.

So the bolt pattern or the middle hole diameter is different even?

Also this IRS company (Irrgang Racing Service) now sold to Hyperdrive, I don't see much detail on the internet about their stuff. Can anyone point me to a website that is good to buy the axle and hub set to work with other wheels and just a rundown of the parts list needed if you have experience? I don't want to rely on getting Yokomo wheels only when TQ and whoever else runs out of them for several weeks.

Its either the car for sale by xps800doo has or a new Xray X12 2016 spec car if I want to get into 1/12.

Here is a link to the IRS axle/hubs you would want (in blue):

The TOP axle and hubs will also work. Would need the following parts:

Rebel right hub
Rebel differential collar
Rebel left hub (v2)
Rebel rear axle
Top diff rings
Rebel differential nut

You can get those parts from TOP Racing USA at [email protected]

I always got tires from the-border.com, they are in the
Netherlands and can order direct from yokomo and corally who both have pre mounts. Usually took about 7-10 days for me to get them.

The new one is on the way...

The best news for me is the standard offset (looks like) for the rear rims.

Are you talking about the Team Bomber rear pod? You can use the IRS axle unit on either the Yokomo C3 rear bulkheads or the Team Bomber bulkheads. You will need to use axle shims and "standard" wheels to complete this setup.
