Aim for 6.2/6.3mm or under so you can add axle shims either side to get to class width of 172mm with Yokomo wheels/axle and to allow you to centre the axle.

Thanks for the note. I thought the typical maximum width for 1/12 should 170mm and lower. Hence, shimming it to 172mm is not really legal ? correct me if I am wrong.

well tried 6.3mills and it was WAY wide, all I had to do is shim the left side with maybe 2.5 mills or so and its perfect- 172mm and from the very center of the chassis the wheels are within a .5mm difference. So it looks like the R12C has a even larger offset than the r12W.

Different diff side hubs from W to C

Probably changed them to allow for getting the width to 172 or under if needed

The whole rear pod is shifted over to the right side of the chassis a bit, hence the shorter right diff hub and I think, longer left diff hub.

Default R12c left hub

Hi hi,

I took a measurement of the new R12C left hub (r12-24hlc) that served as a counter weight. The R12C left hub is 8g and the regular hub (r12-24hl2) is 4g

That front end looks awesome. Just needs damper tubes on the rear.
