Glad to see someone finally work on the front ends. Can't wait to see it hit the states.

Yokomo_Ant3 06-29-2010 07:38 AM

Im guessing it wont be delayed much longer now. Naoto and R12 World champions;)

Yep, you have to use Yok rear wheels. Although, the back of the car is just an R5 so you should be able to put an R5 axle and hubs on it to use standard wheels. The only problem might be that I hear the offset is slightly different as well so may take a bit of shimming to get the track width just right.

they should make a pro10 version off that front end with the old associated bolt pattern but probably a little diy will do the trick as well. I am curious how that would go on untreated outdoor asphalt?

To change caster it looks like you will need another mount for the upper arms? Kinds like the older AE front ends.. You guys with me on this or am I missing something?. I'm old school just not the Delta 80s version old school..lol.

It looks like it has the same little caster clips on the upper arms that the 12r5 has.

DHMOTORSPORTS 07-01-2010 07:59 PM

To me the clips are a fine tuning deal. In talking like the bigger adjustment. Like rotating the blocks on the R5 upper mounts.. 0,5,10. And such..I always like the feeling of a lot of caster on corner entry. Just personal preference..
