No problem Ant ...

There are some really nice things on the car,,

Front anti-roll bar are very cool
The blocks used for caster are even better.. block changes between the degrees of caster

build quality is very good

Poor bits are the clips used on the front arms are a little easy to spring across the room

I have a spring question??

what is a good sideshock spring or is everyone else just using kit??

I changed to AE gold spring at the side but might go back to Silver or blue

Is there an english R12 manual on line anywhere? I'd like to do a bit of reading.

Thanks,
Steve

No english version or translation! Is there an area you need help in on the build? I'm pretty familiar with the way Yokomo does their builds so I really just rely on pictures even if its a english manual....

I think thats all you need.

How does the front hold up? Parts strong enough, any spares that are recommended?
Someone mentioned a std axle and hubs can be installed for the use of normal rims. But is this the assembly for a brushless pod or the old one ( I have my old GenX to swap the parts)

The front is very adjusable and plays a big role on the cars whole entire handling characterisitcs but my only complaint is the use of e-clips. the plastics are very soft but i prefer some flex but I heard that the plastic are so soft it causes the shock the leak. I haven't had issues cause I use green slime and thick oil. The front axles are the same as any other 1/12 but the rear is only slightly different. in order to use wheel that are currently on the market you will need to change out the axle and hub and some shims. the Yokomo hubs create the wide wheel base so their wheels are deep dish style as for the parmas, crc, ect wheels are flat so if you use those wheels on the yoke hub it will give you a crazy wide wheelbase!

Finished the build of my car, tested it round the front room

It feels really good, even with a 5.5 plenty of grip from the frontend even on wooden flooring.

Hotdognobun -

in the picture what centre spring you running??
Also looked at windtunnel website they seem to have more 1/10th spring than 12th what am I missing.

Did anyone test R12 this weekend? what was the out come?

I am using A gold springs. I have crc, xray, and hotbodies type springs and found Windtunnel and Silva brands have worked best. http://www.lefthander-rc.com/catalog/index.php and windtunnel.com is where I always go. I love Windtunnel baby and hive springs and even their foams

I didn't have a body ready, I might open up the track during the week and have a quick test session as I'm really hanging to do a few laps.
