The medium hards feel really sticky compared to the super grips.. Sorta like pink vs double pink..

Looks beast!!!. Does the Lipo have a flat bottom? All my 1S batteries have a stupid bump under it which heightens it. Anyone know of a good brand that doesn't have one.

R12 arrived.. Have sanded and glued the chassis and other carbon parts..

It does look good, also have 4 holes for the servo to be installed so my BLS651 will work without any mod.. Maybe there is a second batch from the factory or something

Will post some pics once I get started.

Yokomo did mention that they will update the kit with a wider front wheelbase and harder composite parts since the 1st was too soft and that the shocks were leaking. Other than that I feel these new updates will be standard parts and can be upgraded for those who have the 1st version! Have fun with the build and make sure you upgrade to ceramic bearings!!! a must.....

No because the r12 uses alot of flanged bearings, I purchased Acer ceramic rc12r5.1 kit plus an extra 1/4 x 3/8 NON Flanged that goes to the spur. Normally most 1/12 uses flange for the spur but not the r12. Oh and also go get some 1/8 ceramic diff balls (8)

Ive got a LRP battery it's got doubled sided bullet tubes so you can mount it upside down if you want a flat bottom.

Guess I'll have to keep a eye out for the updated decks then... Wonder what was altered with the shocks.. Just oranges I hope.
