Has any1 tried metal gear with the 3racing gear? Not to say that the gear is weak but would like to try metal gear somehow...

Thanks for the tip.

This is what I was afraid of, now I gotta get new shafts.

Im not sure how changing roll center will fix my problem, I still wont be able to adjust camber, right now I have 1.5 caster.

thanks guys

the original posted mentioned adding another .75 shim to the rollcenter holders to increase track width and move the driveshafts....

just add 0.75 mm spacers to the 4 roll centre adjusters then it fits

I've run my TRF416X for the first time with the geardiff and the car was very different to drive.
Different in the positive way, the car handled so much smoother and was easier to drive.
I sure was much faster with the gear diff then with my ball diff.
And that's what we all want, to go faster with less maintenance

I am still loving my Spec R gear diffs. But they need to be rebuilt more often than you think. Not because the internals are wearing out, but because the oil breaks down and leaks out which really softens up the diff over time.

Does anyone know were to get oil in finer increments (around 20k) of oils ranging from 150,000 to 500,000? Or am i going to have to mix my own?

Thanks,

Antoni

Changing to the new X O-ring makes no differences from what I can tell. It still leaks. The leaking from the pulleys can be fixed with some automotive sealant. They really should release some rubber gaskets for the diff.
