what is a good oil for front diff on a tarmac track , i found with 300,000 oil i was loosing time coming out of the corner .

When does it become a spool because of the thickness of the oil ?? is 500,000 oil too thick or is this the norm for front diffs ???

Thanks Phil

just wondering ......when fitted on the rear would the lack of oil inside the diff make the car loose grip on the back end half way thru a tight corner???
thanks

Yes. Running oil that is too thin (or not running enough oil) will give oversteer. Thicker oil will give better traction under power, but less steering into and through the corner.
