What tires and inserts for parking lot racing?

Curious as to what tires and inserts everyone is using for parking lot racing this year?

We are using Yokomo 138s',HPI X-patterns',Sorex 36s'. Blue/Green HPI inserts. A few use red. X patterns seem to work real well out here on dusty/sandy parking lots. The Yokes and Sorex on prepared cleaned asphalt. New to TC rubber tires so I'm just taking the advice of others at our local tracks on the TC.

Seems like where I'm at (SoCal) the hot tires are Sorex (28R, 32R, 36R), TakeOff (CS27, CS32), Yok 138G or 139G, and Pit (haven't used them but whatever is in the 28 to 36 range). Inserts range from HPI Red, HPI Greens, Yok Med, Yok Firm, Yok Thin Firm and TakeOff inserts (included with tires).

The combos I currently have and run are:
Yok 138Gs - Yok Firm Fr/Med Rr
HPI 33R - HPI Red Fr/Red Rr
HPI 27R - HPI Red Fr/Yellow Rr
Sorex 32R - Yok Firm Fr/Med Rr
TakeOff CS27 - Included inserts

The same tires as rod_b listed, work for us here in the Kansas area. I also like to use Losi lowprofile yellow compound slicks.

heres how I have mine set up:

Losi 7702Y low profile slicks-Yokomo medium inserts-Ofna split spoke wheels

Yokomo 139G2-Yokomo firm inserts-Ofna split spoke wheels

Sorex 28r- Sorex type-B inserts-SpeedTechRC dish wheels

-I use the same inserts front and rear on all my sets-

I think the cs22 and cs27 are the all around best tire.
