Linky

http://www.hobbypartz.com/98p-50c-50...case-2222.html

I was going to buy them maybe next week but not any more since they are out of stock. They are like a couple of dollars more then the 40c which have themselves been popular and hard to get.

2x 5000 40c packs for the mod SCT
2x 1550 25c packs for their new starter box (I'm using it on an 1/8th)
1x 1300 25c pack on a mini LST2

Can't say I've had any complaints at all so far. Hold a charge, plenty of punch, balance well, etc. Seem to be on PAR with the big names at a fraction of the price.

2 cell nitro RX battery for 1/8th that fits 49x28x21mm or smaller. Only semi-ok pack out there of that size. Specifically, this is for the HotBodies D8 1/8th's.

i got a pair of the 5000mah 40c 2s packs thursday, ordered sunday night, was very surprised to have got them already from the other end of the country on FREE SHIPPING.

but charged them up, with my commonsense rc balance pro connected to the balance port with my onyx 230 chargers and they stayed within .02v the whole charge cycle, balance light would come on for maybe 1-2 seconds before they where back even.

i have used orion, reedy and promatch packs and this just feels like a step above them all. granted none of these where 40c packs, but for reading online people saying they are really 20c-25c, im going to have to disagree. atleast while new it feels like i would think a 40c would.

this pack with a 13.5 feels faster then my t4 did with a 10.5 and promatch 5200 30c.

I've had 1 out of 4 packs that were about 2 weeks old go open circuit on me whilst in the middle of a race at states level. Another racer bought his about 3 weeks ago, and has had one go open circuit already. They are good batteries for the price ($35 - 5000 40c), but expect to replace them more often than more expensive ones.

I highly doubt this is the norm for these batteries or else you would here more about this for as many as they seem to sell out of them quickly.
If the batteries went bad that quickly, I would be contacting HobbyPartz and be getting replacements for defective batteries.
I'm sure the guy from HobbyPartz that posts in this thread will probably say this is a fluke as well.

I have been using GEN ACE 5000 40c on MOD with 4.5T I must say this batteries can handle the abuse.. I have mine for about 6 months racing every weekend and charging this packs at 10 amps I have not seen a drop in performance.. From me using the best pack money can buy I have use Orion, TP, Intellect, Fantom etc... This batteries is par with $100+++ dollar betteries or better... Not too mention I have been using the same pack during practice and race. You just can't beat the price and performance. I will be attending the REEDY Race this year and will be running this pack in open MOD..
