Default MIP tweak station

has anyone bought a mip tweak station lately?

reason is, the one I have does not pivot on bearings as described on their website..

They obviously made revisions without telling anyone, the consumer being the sucker again. Now it pivots on 2 solid pieces thats round.

my rant for the day.

MIP shame shame shame

this is what the 2 bearings have been replaced with, pic below

same #9020 part number. At first when I opened the package, I thought the bearings were an option, but you cannot even upgrade it to use bearings the way its designed as the pivot is solid with the center shaft

doesnt look like this

I guess you could have gotten an earlier model. The one I got was sitting in the store for a while tho.

If you really want bearings have the solid rollers turned down on a lathe and add bearings yourself. Shouldn't cost too much at a machine shop as it's a pretty simple job, or maybe you have a friend with a lathe? Use Loctite green retaining compound to hold the bearings securely in place on the shaft.
