Not sure if this has been covered yet (tried doing a search but too much material to sift through in this thread), but currently considering a XXX-S RTR, but have read somewhere that standard tamiya style wheels won't fit as it uses some oversized wheel axles and thinner than standard hex hardware. So wanted to check if this is the case?

well yes but you can get regular sized hex drives and put them on and just drill the hole bigger on the rim and then just simply bot it on

or you can get the axles (cant use the bone though) from the tc3 and put that on the xxx-s and do the same process as above

Hey guys,

Whats the difference between the graphite arms and the BK arms for the XXXS? Ditto on the BK rear hubs?

Thanks,
Ray

use a body reamer to remove a tiny bit of material from the mounting hole on the tamiya wheel...fits no problem.

as far as i know there wasn't a bk arm or bk hub made for the 'xxx-s' maybe its for his off-road??
they made either the gray graphite or the black composite arms/hubs though.

Can anyone tell me where to buy bearings for the xxx-s. Sold my jrxs and went back to my xxx-s. It's still the easiest car for me, but I can't find any new bearings. Thanks

Acer usually has decent prices, even ceramic set for about $100.

http://www.acerracing.com/

There're other places, but I can't think of them, right now.

Thanks, I've looked there, but I'm not sure they have a lot of faith in their product. I like girls as much as anyone, but when they're used to that degree to sell a product, I have to question the quality of that product. You don't really expect Hooters to have the best food in town, do ya? I just want to pay for good bearings.
