I have run my one-way for over a month in both stock and mod without any parts problems.

Chad, have you taken it out and looked at the hubs closely?

The cracks in my hubs are hairthin and almot invisible, but they go all the way through. What's happening is that under load, they are going to spread slightly and the one way bearing will slip inside the hub.
This means no power to the front wheels.

Mr. Losi, I just sent Losi an e-mail, let's see what they say.

Regarding Lemieux's statement, be carefull with what team drivers tell you. First ,they simply cannot admit if there is a problem, second, those guys usually don't hit as much as we mortal people.

Here is what helped me out when thinking in turns of droop.

I stopped thinking of the droop gauge as a measurement and as a position adjustment. Why the molded those things backwards i cannot figure out.

Can I remove 2 mm from my standard shafts rather than buying the short shafts? Seems like I could achive the same results. Is there something I'm missing that would make me buy the new shafts?

Stefan, I looked at it this weekend when I pulled it out and it was in perfect condition, the other good thing is when I bought mine there was an extra set of hubs with one-way bearings in the package. I was lucky to get a package error in my favor. In the same time I have been running my one-way people I race with have blown up one ways, 1 Losi, 1 TC3, and a poor guy lost 3 or 4 Schu. bearings. I have found that running the front one-way can be very fast but can also be very spendy as you tend to break a lot of fronteend parts. The trick seems to be not to be in the throtlle when you hit some thing.

Chad,

I have been running my one way in my Yokomo for two years w/o any problems.
I run a one way in my Mugen MTX2 and it holds up fine.

I just think, that a molded hub is not though enough for a 8 turn on carpet with foams...

Did anybody else think the low roll center mod was a pain? I hope it does give me better corner speed.

IT was a bit of a pain (I used the red Matt Francis blocks) but it does allow me to run on smaller diameter tires which was my primary reason for doing the mod.

Default Bones

Does anyone know if the TC3 composite or aluminum bones will work with the xxx-s's axle?

MDawson- weight, thanks for your answer. That saves me a trip to the hobbyshop. I got a team losi gift certificate but it's only for $100.00 so I'm trying to get everything I can with the coupon.
