For the esc I shoe-gooed down a 1''x 2'' piece of lexan and then used double side tape to mount the esc on that. Same for the receiver.

Why do I see so many people running AE hex's on these cars? Is it a clearance issue, or do the stock hex's fail?

The AE hexes are used to clearance of 28mm wide foam tires. With the stock hexes, 28mm tires will rubb on the shocks. You can also use the AE hexes to increase the track width of the car, if you wanted. Hope that helps.

I was not one who ran the Tamiya shocks on my G+ last year but I have been running the JRXS this year and the shocks are awesome!!!!! If you want to run them on the XXXS you need to get the shock towers with the lower set of holes in them because the new shocks are shorter. They were aftermarket and I cannot remember who makes them. Sorry.

There are actually three different versions of the hexes...plastic, graphite and aluminum. Get the mid-priced graphite ones which are the lightest.

I was thinking of running rod ends and ball studs or your BK bars to make the shocks longer but those PRP Racing shock towers look sweet!!!!!!! We shall see.

Seen these on ebay:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...983996365&rd=1.
Seems like a good price? I'm just not sure what pistons and springs to start with?

I suck at mounting touring car bodies. Does the Losi Skoda have dimples for the XXX-S?
