Most of us are running brushless, may not have as much punch as a 7-10 turn but they are plenty fast and the efficiency is unparalleled. Most of us can get 2-3 5 minute heats to a 3000Mah pack. 2 packs will last the whole night.

How much does a body effect the car? Say I wanted to buy like a Chevy Monte Carlo stock car body (being the nascar fan i am) would i be able to run that at a parking lot race or would it make it handle funny or etc.? Has anyone tried it?

Some say bodies dont do anything, but they do a lot for me. The Mazda 6 is the best all around body I have seen, it has worked everywhere for me. Going with a Nascar body will most likely make your car suck, look at the buggy wings they run on those things to get rear traction. You can try it and it could work, but I propably wouldnt waste the cash if you plan on racing.

For racing the XXX-S with a stock motor, I like the Protoform Alfa 156 for both carpet and asphalt.

I like the losi alfa too. Its dialed on the rug. The only thing i like better about the Parma Alfa is the bubble roof so you can slam it and still make body height.
