But why is there such a big difference between 3 kits? There are 2 others having the same problem. Which makes 5 cars total and 1 steers great and 4 that push with the same setup. If you want to see a picture of the track go to enidrcracing.com.

Did you check the EPA and dual-rate for each of the cars?

I would try Pivot 0 in the front with 4 degree carriers and camber 3 in the rear with A position on the hub.

What would be a safe starting spot on Dual Rate? I have a M8 and have it set at 80%.

EPA is Left=100% Right=100%

Could there be anything to the brace though? Does this track at Enid look like a oneway size track in the stock class?

Doug... if all cars have the same set up, then how about the diffs? are they built the same (same diff grease?), equal tightness, relative too each car and front to rear? Could one of the cars have the 41 pulley in the rear? underdrive or overdrive?

same tires? inserts? or if on foam, foam/sauce? same body? wing?
is the body/wing mounted the same on the car? a forward mounted body will have more seering. (only talking about 1/4 inch makes a difference) also wings make a big difference, how there mounted.

Also each radio is different:
1. you need to set Dual rate to 100%
2. next set the epa (end points) to full travel.
3. now adjust the dual rate while on the track to the required level

I have 2 radios of the same manufacture, and they both use different epa's and dual rate settings with the same car, so don't rely on the number to compare with another radio (just use it for reference)

Have you guy's tried each others cars? To see if they feel like they look in others hands. (had to ask) I have tried a car that someone said pushed it's brains out but I thought it turned well (and the lap times showed it)

well after this i can add some set up changes to try

'pushed its brains out' is such a violent term

Thanks Ron,
We have checked the diff pulleys, all 42s. The grease could be different and the tightness has been set by holding each end and turning the spur gear until it would not turn the diffs, one end then the other. The tires were the same as well as the wheels and inserts. Same compund (tq blue). 2 cars are running the stock body and mine has a protoform stratus as well as 2 others. I have driven two of the other cars and there is a definite handling difference in them. One turns in great without useing brakes and rotates though the corners while still under speed. Mine requires brakes to get into the turn and then washes out in the middle and comes out okay as well as the other one I drove. We are just looking for that needle in a haystack. The difference in the cars is just too great for somthing little I feel but I definitely could be wrong. The track is an indoor concrete track.

Ron, I would definitely take any setup tips you have. I have ran your parking lot setup with the exception for the rear pulley change and the rear camber position. Stayed with A1. The track is an indoor concrete track with med bite. enidrcracing.com has pictures. Should we just leave the push and go with a oneway? Could you please look at the track and give us your best guess?

Doug... How about esc settings Is one of the cars using drag brake? it maybe set up in the speedo with out knowing. How about the motors. If running modified more timing will give more brakes. In stock different motors have different brakes How about the throttal trim. Some times we adjust some roll when using stock so they may be different. another thing to check is toe out or toe in on the front of the car, also how about the rear are all using the same hubs?

on the diffs... assuming they don't slip
1. When you check the diffs, see if they feel the same(the resistance when turning one wheel and the other goes the other)
2. Usually I run the front tighter than the rear.

Ron again
