Nitro Kid-

What is your tire size? Need to know that to figure out what you should should be running for a pinion. Are you using foams or rubber tires. If foams you always need to change your pinion size to keep your final ratio the same.

What size track? The final drive always changes depending on what type of track your racing that week. And last question are your mains 4 or 5 min. And what amp are you charging your battery at?

Taxxas has a thrust bearing that is the same part as the McMaster Carr one, it sells for $10 in shops( I do not know the part#). Also there is a thrust by Neotech that is better then the other 2. The Neotech bearing you can get online fron Axiom racing motors or call Rc/Plus hobbies(link in sig) and they will ship them out. Also Boca bearings has one but I think it is more $$. I hope that helps.

We have a very high qualtiy thrust assy. and in our opinion is better than the Traxxas style. We have had many people love our thrusts. For more info and pricing go to www.axiommotors.com thrusts are on special on homepage and are in stock!

With a 128 spur gear I'd start with a 31 tooth pinion, if you find the battery is dumping then go to the 32 tooth, if you have plenty of batter left go to the 30 tooth.

As far as the 88 spur start with a 20 tooth, I'm assuimg this is 48 pitch, then go to a 21 if the battery is duming early if plenty of life then drop to a 19.

And thanks to everyone else for the thrust brg info. Axiom looks good I wish you had some 767 in stock as well.

I know it has been posted here long before now; but, you would have to tell us which belt...blue, yellow (same) or black.

Seems that they all had an odd number of teeth; so, you have to compromise when cutting out every-other tooth.
