Trying to identify another fast stock motor to use. My really fast Monster ended up as junk on its last comm cut. Got some reasonable torque Monsters for TC Stock; but, want RPMs for 1/12 stock.

Will be at Stockton Wed, Fri, Sat & Sun.
Cool, I might run mod. Not sure yet. Gotta see if my receiver pack comes in or not.

XXXS Bill:

Over here in the UK, we tend to run Losi Whites all round on carpet with foams.

Don't do a lot of carpet/rubber racing here, normally our setups are around Losi Green/Blue (CS22's last time worked ok with these)

HTH

That's interesting. Getting to be time for me to make a trip across the pond so I can see some foam racing action. Thinking about buying a Volvo in Sweden (factory delivery) and driving to the UK....Does the Chunnel take cars?

What kind of Volvo are you looking at buying, Bill? I'm looking at the S40 T5.

A V50 T5 AWD so far. Varies depending on my wife's new company car (changes yearly) and how much space I want to leave for working on r/c cars at my work bench.

Look into picking it up in Sweden ("Factory Delivery") . Volvo pays the airfare for two and you get two weeks of free insurance while in Europe plus shipping to your local dealer. Takes about 3 months waiting for the build to happen and then you make the trip. Waiting to order early next year for a spring/summer delivery.

Drove and really liked the VW R32; but, it's just too small for all my r/c stuff.

Oh, is this the XXX-S string??????? He, he...Off track again!

I got a recvr pack you can use if you want, about 1 month old, I got it so I could program the KO 2342 servo ...so hardly any use on it.

Default New to XXX-S

I am new to the Losi touring car. My front wheels when turned to the steering locks hit the shock mounts. Any ideas?

Also I have a G+ with out the rear a arms lacking the 2 hub hole. I know I am going to get this arm. But is the hub carrier different also.

Any one know where I can get the fancy little outdrive savers. Not the Trinity ones that cover the whole outdrive.

The car handles really well. Just want to get into running carpet well.

Thanks

KG

First off, what wheels are you using?

Ive heard of people using o-rings instead of the trinity units, but it seems like they would just slide right off.
