That is the standard amount on EACH side of the XXX-S with the 0 degree rear hubs. You can use the 1/2 or 1 degree rear hubs to add or subtract toe at the rear end. The rear hubs are marked for the right and left side of the car. It you swap them from side-to-side, you are decreasing the amount of toe in.

Per a Matt Francis setup, I run 1-1/2 degrees on my carpet car for sportsman stock class racing.

Default lack of interest

Well touring has taken a slump at the local track so i decided to race oval and sell the losi, at least untill the new car arrives. Yeah right not unless i want to give it away as a no reserve for $50.00 on Ebay. Looks like everyone is selling in anticipation. Unless the I can sell it for closer to what it's worth it looks like my 5 yr old is getting a slightly used xxxs g+ for xmas

I know. And that is why one of my cars copies your setup; except for my leaving off the front swaybar. It plain works!

go to the Losi site and they have some rubber tire setups. SC-27 to be exact. If you've looked at those then i have a setup thats not on the Losi site that Todd Hodge sent me. If you want the setup PM me and ill send it to you.

Default Hex adaptors

Hey guys I'm going to race indoors for the first time ever and I have a question about the hex adaptors. Presently I purchased Jaco 28mm foam tires and when I put them on the car they hit the bottom og the shock mount when I turn the tires.

These are zero offset tires. Should I get 2mm offset tires or can I use another companies hex adpators. I read that the TC3 will work. Is this true. What is everyone else doing

Thanks

The TC3 adaptors are the ticket. They are about 50% thicker than the Losi units. Come in both plastic and graphite. You want the graphite ones.

With the stock XXX-S CVDs, you need to use low profile locknuts to get the nylon to effectively lock onto the CVD threads. This is how I do it. Otherwise, the compatible CVDs off the TC3 are a fraction longer than the XXX-s units. Some people take this step.

Default Limiters?

Hi,

I know this probobly sounds like a stupid question but im trying to copy Paul Lemiuex's setup from the 2003 US indoor championships. He uses .090 limiters on the outside of his front shocks and .060 on the outside of the rear. What does this mean, where do you put these limiters and what do you use as limiters?

Also how would you go about lowering the rear block .060 to lower roll centre?

and finally when he says .060 does that mean inches? im from the UK so i work in metric.

any help would be much appreciated!

thanks

Default Losi XXX-S G+ out of the box

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has a setup sheet per the kit instructions. I tried transposing the info but may have made a mistake or two. The reason I aks is that I would expect the setup to be for asphalt but I ran it on Ozite Carpet the other night with 45 shore tires up front and 42 in the rear and it worked fairly well right out of the box. I ran 30w oil with Purple front springs and silver rears, 1 degree camber, 1 degree toe-in front, ride height 5mm and a droop of 3mm front 5mm rear.

Thanks
