Default What about???

Randy,

What about the S2000?

FYI...Motorcycles don't have rollbars. Spend the dough on a girl (Who doesn't have a rollbar either)...Whatever.

Trust me on this.

before you "start off" on your 100+ hp bike , go take the MSF course and learn to ride on something alittle less powerful. And dont be a squid, wear your gear it saves lives.

The MSF is the best thing a new rider can do, even if you've been riding for years. Theres always something to learn!

and no, i dont work for them.

I've been told to take the MSF course, where can I find one to sign up for?

Bill- I have a 05 S2000 on order actually, but if I get rid of my car right now it's about 8k worth of negitive equity. I think I'm just gonna slap a turbo on it and keep it for a while, the gixxer will be my speed fix.

Yeah, never even heard of Laverda, propably out of the price range anyway. I want something new, with a good array of aftermarket parts avalible.

Default Just read through it for a while

I'm not one to lecture, but getting a 600cc sportbike with no riding experience is a bad idea. Every single person I know who's gone that route WITHOUT EXCEPTION has lost money and skin.

Do yourself a favor and buy a learner bike to ride for 6 months. It's not nearly as cool, but starting out on a sport bike is akin to learning to drive in an F1 car.

Don't take my word for it though....

I'm not trying to tell you what to do so please don't take it like that, but I don't like seeing people get severely injured, in some cases - for life - because they couldn't wait 6 months to move to a big bike.

Um, there's this guy in Arizona that I know who was riding his bike and his engine locked up on him and now he has one leg... and terminator parts where the other used to be...

Be careful.
