Yes I snapped one too, but that was only because I did a quick gear change and dropped a washer into the drive train .....


Most of the Losi drivers in the UK use the black belt, FYI though Spashett sometimes uses a cut (every other tooth) blue belt - and hardly ever the yellow.


Also talking to one of the guys at Helger (UK importer) yesterday, apparently Losi are changing the colour of the long belts from black to yellow???? Anyone else know anything?

i have a bad on power push what is the best way to get rid of it? i went to a bigger hole piston with 70 wt in the frt 40 wt with 57 in the rear purple frt blue rr

ggrrrrrrrr! I can not bet my car to hook up. I think I am going to get the hudy tweek station. I know I can beat the guys at my track if my car would just hook up like everyone else. I am so addicted to racing this car HAHAHAHA

save your money. i got my G+ to hook up straight without a tweak station. If you havent already, look at the Losi website for tips on how to adjust the tweak on your car... unless of course your heart is set on getting a station, fill your boots.

What modifications do I need to do to the G+ in order to run tamiya shocks?

Also after finally getting my car to hook up a bit better on my local track I am noticing uneven tire wear with the inside of the tires developing a bit of a "lip" of excess rubber. Is this normal? If not how can I get my tires to wear evenly?

How much camber are you running? You generally want to run about -1 degrees all around. Your camber setting is probably what is causing that to occur.

I am running -1 degree all around. Would the layout of the track have something to do with it? I believe only the tires on the left side of the car are exhibiting this symptom.

Two other causes I can think of:

1. Your car may not be balanced regarding the weight of the left side vs. the right side. Consequently, more stress is being put on the left side tires when cornering. You can check the balance (aka "tweak) of your car with a setup/tweak board.

2. You may also be running tires that are too soft. If you run on asphalt in hot weather, softer tires can't handle the heat and will wear out prematurely and in some cases deform. Make sure the tires you're running are rated to handle the surface temp of your track.

our tyres always wear more on teh left than the right..

this is because 3 of the fastest corners are right handers (going onto the straight, coming off the straight and corner after the sweeper) and all the weight is going onto the left wheels.

if they are slicks/foams keep swapping them over with the right, this will keep tyre wear even on both sides.

if they are treaded, and are directional then i guess there isn't a solution.

Yes that is so true, anyone no some good replacement tire for some racing, or should i just stick with the stock because they are not completely worn out...

hey guys,
I know this has most likely been gone over loads of times but, i was thinking about getting an XXXs G+ and i hear you can fit the Tamiya shocks on the car?
firstly which ones exactly?
do they fit without any modifications?
are they as adjustable?
pretty much what are the pro's and cons?
