It could possibly be the motor. Check it to make sure the bearings are free spinning and the brushes are aligned so they wont arc on the comm.

I dunno. I ran mine 41/128 and it came off the track at 140 degrees after a 6 min run.

WOW!!! What was the ambient temp? I don't remember the last time I had a motor come off the track under 210 (Sacramento area, so it's anywhere from 85 - 100 regularly during the summer).

Guy temped it with his gun when I came off the track in the main. it was an indoor track, about 80 degrees outside and humid. My car is super super free though. I think that helps out a ton. I'll have them check it again this weekend and see how it comes off.

Oh and I dont use a fan.

Where did you buy it? I've looked around, but can't find a fan that small.

I got it from one of my LHS's; I don't have Reedy's website handy, but let me look it up for you

I found some @ Stormer Hobbies, part# ASC0448, for $8.95; maybe you have more stuff to order 'cause for the $6.95 S&H, it's not worth it to just get the fan . Maybe you have your LHS order one for you .
