That's the most obvious problem (so you would think), but NOT!- there's not a problem of that sort.

do you have a pic of this mod? Is the gold washer glued on the spindle where it hits the c hub?

This play is what causes the CVD's to chatter. If you put the gold washer on the spindle, that play will be removed and you shouldn't get the chatter anymore.

You just need to take the CVD apart and rebuild it, maybe even replace the bone and pin to take out slop.

Glue a gold washer on the little nub on the spindle where it hits the caster block.

has anyone used only half of there balls in the diff to cut down the rotating mass and if so does it work

Any word on the short white natural ballcups ive seen all the team drivers using them,but i guss i could cut them down but i would not like to spend all that time measuring and cutting.
