Default droop problem?

Hey guys, I started tearing apart my car to get ready to get back into RC and I noticed that the plastic that the droop screw hits is bent down. I remember when the XXX-s first came out people complained because the screw hit the soft plastic of the bumper. Has there been a fix?

Thanks
meche

The best way to set your droop is by limiting the shocks and threading and un threading the shock ends to adjust the droop. Kind of a pain but it's the only consistant way to do it.

Didn't know entry forms were out. I'm sending mine in as soon as I can get to the bank to get a money order. What calss to enter. Run modified and get my A$$ handed to me by the factory guys or run 19 turn and have a chance at an A main. As much as I want to run mod, I think I'll be entering 19 turn.

Default droop screw

Are you saying that setting droop with screws in gernal is not consitent. For example if you were running another car. OR is the xxx-s drop screw set-up not consistent?

Thanks
meche

Just with the Losi. The plastic that the droop screw go into on the bumper flexes. This gives inconsistant droop settings. I wish there was a consistant way to simply adjust droop like other cars.

I just took a shot of my car to let you guys see it there is nothing special but it is always fun to see a picture of other car. The reason why there is no esc is that I had a bad luck a body clip came juste where the wire are sitting when I was on the track and it stocked there so the esc burned a bit. A real bad luck.

All I run is the Acer's. Unfortunately they went to a new rubber type seal and it rubs bad on the inner race of the bearing. Great for the seal, but binds up a bit, I switch them out to a regular steel shield to get the bearings to spin free. Boca's are supposed to be awesome, but the prices are high from what I understand, never looked into them.

I've thought about getting a good set. I got my kit bearings spinning pretty free, but I just feel like it could always be a little better.

Are you talking about the ceramics Randy or the next step down?

Yes, the thickest one in the pack, slows down the reaction of the car in the chicanes in our track, also, the car runs flatter... i also have a front 1-way and no sway bars in the rear.
