Default finished and ready

hey guys i have just finished putting together my losi g+, and i'm getting ready to head to the track. I am a true blue rookie at this, so i want to know what hops to buy for this car. how important is having a $200 speed control. Also how important is it to have a $200 charger. I have a vison peak charger and a $100 speed control from novak, and a couple of smc matched packs. Are these ok? like i said i'm green, or was it blue? Any help would be cool.

Your equipment is more than good enough for a newbie. Sounds like you've got some pretty nice stuff. Right now your focus should be on a)getting your car setup to run well on that track and b)learning how to drive it well. Upgrading from a $100 speed control to a $200 speed control this soon in the game is overkill. The difference between the two will hardly even be noticeable until you become a solid driver.

You're on the best discussion board on the net as far as I'm concearned. Todd Hoge also has a thread on here where you can ask him anything you need. He's very good about responding in a timely manner and he's a good guys to top it off.
