I ran the belt with every 2'nd and 3'rd tooth cut today. Didn't have any skipping problems, only when I ran it really loose and hit the brakes. I'll propably take it out of the car and save it for my Reedy car for now...

Hey Franko-

Donny always has his game on. Did the bite get any better at FW?

I stopped by Speedworld on the way down to LA. If you and the rest of the NW guys are game, SpeedWorld has a great event coming up -SPEEDWORLD CUP. The event is blast. Guys from everywhere come out for it. Get some of the guys down there. In Sacramento.

I ran yesterday at RC Heat here in So Cal- they have a strong program in the making. We had about 10 heats. A lot of fun getting out in the sun. Much hotter than Seattle, 103 yesterday.

Tell the guys hi for me.

Finally got a day off to try and finish this car. Got the electronics in and am getting ready to do the tires and body. I do have the pics from my digital just have to get them loaded up and attached.
Car went together just fine. I'm going to have to do some adjustments on the shocks only because I left them too long. Springs don't hit the tension adjusters on the rear.

I'm also going to have to redo my current battery pack or just put together my new one. The old one has 7 cells but assembled hump pack style. Just have to resolder that last cell. About time to check out gearing for pinions I probably need. The largest I have I think is 22 teeth. Worked great for off road.

RandyB, I have run mine with every other tooth cut (cut, skip, cut, skip, cut,....) and a stupid strong 10 turn w/o any skipping. Also, if you are going to do the spur, you might as well cut the diffs also to get the full effect. Too bad about Sun, Orin sounded excited to be running the "rent-a-wreck".

Did my first body off run. Yeeoowww!! I can't even do full speed on this thing in my 6 car driveway. Since this is my first time to drive a TC, it really surprised me how controllable this car is...And ballistic. Good thing I only put in my "mild" modified just to test it out for a minute. I didn't adjust anything on the car and had mild understeer, probably due to the rear shocks not the right length as they needed to be. It kind of sits rear down right now. No wrecks yet or scratches because of my low ground clearance.

Now with all you guys talking about the belt kits and cutting teeth, I'm just wondering if I should even dare try it out until I get used to this thing. All in all, awesome!

RandyB, I got mine when the first batch hit. I just wish I had time to play with it more than I did. Willis is doing OK, I think he is having fun with the drive back and forth every day though.

We now have XXX-S hop-ups available from GPM Racing.

Right now we have the front aluminum knuckle arm set in blue and silver color.

They are $16.95 each.

If anyone of you would like to get a set of these, email me and I can give you a special discount (only for RCTech members). Since you guys requested these hop-ups.

Regards,
Jason
