has anyone tried spliting the batt pack into a saddle? i know that it's probably best to have the batt all the way forward but by 2400s(only cells i own) don't fit that way and i can't flex the graphite batt strap enough.

when i used to have 2400s i disasembled them and placed them in the battery slots in the chassis and marked the cells when the had it to the point were the battery strap was down, but now i use battery straping tape so i dont have to worry about that, just my .02 cents

nevermind, my 2400's weren't built all that tightly, i just noticed that if they are really squished together then they fit with alittle bit of batt strap flex. thanks anyway.
do you guys take any precautions for shorting the batts on the drivetrain tunnel?

Got the main chassis together. Getting ready to install the electronics and trying to figure out what gearing I should use w/ the stock orange spur. I know this is old stuff, but I have a choice between a B&R Bullet, Mr R and the Mr T series for motors. I'm just looking for a ballpark estimate since I'm only worried about getting the ESC too hot. My Mr T is a 12T quad, B&R I think is 24T, and the Mr R is either a 14T or a 16T. Thanks for the help.

If I remember right in the kit there is a piece of lexan that comes in the kit. Part # A-9607 if you need it. Otherwise You can cut a piece of plastic and double side tape it on.

Default ellegi foams

anyone running ellegis? i just got a set for cheap, but it seems like my wheel nuts are too big, as i cant get my socket in there to tighten them down. So im guessing i need some smaller nuts (insert joke here). can anyone reccomend anything?

I could be wrong, but i thought i heard those are metric and that you need to make the hole bigger.
