Sheldon's Hobbies in San Jose, CA had 2-3 bb kits hanging on their Losi parts wall yesterday. They do mail order.

RC Tech in Daly City sold me a space on Friday. So they are out there again.

i agree.

Its funny how they are the best Hobby shop it the bay area, but the track needs some work, and how HT is not close to the best hobby shop but thier tack is probally the best outdoor track in the bay area(excluding Sac Town)IMO.

Boooo. I be there though.

Sorry I missed ya yesterday James. Bill pointed you out but I never had a chance to get over there.

I had a glitch that i dont think was a real glitch. I think it was the dogg bone pin rubbing. The crap that happens on race day. lol

Hi all,

Maybe some of you can give me some advice. Previously, I had the car spinning out on me just after midcorner. Some had suggested me to tweak the car and i did. It worked fine after that.

The only thing that i didnt notice after i tweak the car, that i had use a new set of tyres after that. It seems that my problem happens with semi-old tyres(around 3-4runs).

I started to play with so many settings, with no results and i almost gave up. Finally, I change to another stock motor (high rpm, previously high torque motor). That was the ticket. Seems that the high torque motor gave too much motor braking, resulting in the rear end to break loose.

Yet I'm still thinking what can I do to the car so i'm able to use the high torque motor.

Below is my setup:

Front:
Arm spacing: center
Droop: 3
Camber link:2
Shock pos.:3
Shock: 50 AE
Spring: Purple
Antiroll bar: second thickest
Low roll

Rear:
Arm spacing: center
Droop: 3
Camber link: 1
Shock pos.:2
Shock: 40 AE
Spring: Blue
Antiroll bar:second thinnest
Low roll
Offset rear hub
link on hub:A
camber: -1 (all round)
tires: sorex 40
caster: 4 deg.

Running one-way on on-road asphalt, medium size track and 23T stock motor.

You are tooooooooo kind (as usual) to say "a little better".

Yeah, traction was at an all time low and we all got "hosed" a couple times during the day.

The good news is that they may have learned something and that could benefit us all.

As JohnMatrix and I think...Sheldon's is a very good hobby shop that supports our sport. Unfortunately, they just don't have the parking lot or barriers to run a championship caliber race.

And there's faaaaaaaaaaaaaaar less stress with a personal...

Today, we Bay Area diehards had a super race day running with RCCAR at Speedring. Sorry, you all didn't have the opportunity to stick around for a race on what was a great track layout...And I didn't even finish in the top three!

You guys have been a great help for many of us when we get up to Speedworld and Stockton; so, we certainly want of reciprocate.

Anytime you want a critique on a Bay Area race venue, please feel free to ask us'ins locals.

But, please don't "pose" for any pictures!!! He, he...
It was great hangin out with the racers. I can't post what I really thought of that whole race because of my sponsors.

Randy got the true story over the phone.

Testing at speedworld was killer today. I felt like a kid in the candy store. The Reedy race is starting to look good if these same set up's work on the Tamiya track.
