The wheeler belt is longer.

Clint, on your bearing what I would do is take all your kit bearings out and soak them in WD40 for a few days. Put them in something you can shake up every once in awhile. That should help get some of the junk out of that. If you just want new bearings AvidRC has some nice metal shielded ones for like $1.25 a bearing.

I will do that this weekend... I have the car setup with black springs and a different motor today and I will see what that can do.

Default Update

I ran the car at lunch...

I dropped over 1/2 a sec from yesterday.. still not enough but I am going to try a new motor and I am going to soak my bearings over the weekend... I couldn't really feel much of a difference between the cut yellow and the black belt, but I did go faster. I changed motor, springs(to black all around) and the belt.

Thanks for the help guys!

Give the belt some time to break in. It will get better. Getting those bearings going will be a big help too. I soaked my old ones and it would spin pretty free for about 5 seconds. Not a lot but much better then what it was.

I plan on running more next week after I soak the bearings and try a couple of different motors...

Also, I forgot to say that the car did transition better now.. and I was able to swing the rear around some of the hairpins...

The XXXS has the capability to be the most dialed car out there, are the guys running up front more dialed than you, or are they more experienced drivers?
