belt noise
anyone notice that the black belt system makes more noise than say.. the stock one? I recently changed over and i seem to be getting a high pitched sound at higher speeds.
i say belt because its the only thing i changed, could it be somthing else? my gear mesh is the same as before

I like the 357 personally, if it's too fast, just turn the speed down on the radio. I generally like the car a bit on the twitchy side though.

For the budget racer i'd use the hitec hs-5925mg. It's fast, strong, digital, and about 79.99 @ lhs. I'd like to start using the KO Propo pds-2343 but I don't have that in the budget yet.

I've had a lot of problems with Hitec in the past, in fact one of their servos stopped working conveniently at full throttle on my 1/8 scale buggy on the straight. This is after I bought a Lynx 3D that wouldn't even transmit a signal. I wont use them for anything anymore, and for just $30 more than that $80 price you can get the 357 and propably never see a problem.

I've got the same 357 in one of my cars that I got 2 years ago and it works great. I run them in all my cars.

i used the 357 in my xxxs, then my tc3, now my b4 and xxx4, and its soon to be the stearing servo in my 1/8th scale, i love them, and like randy i like a twitchy car, alows me to throw it thru bad situations more
Can someone please tell me the weight difference between the graphite + and the plastic chassis, with everthing except electrics in it? My car(plastic) weighs 1589 grams with everything in it.
