That's what I have been told also. Just wanted to see if anyone that has tried it, what their thoughts are..

Mine will be here soon.... I hope it helps out because the Xray's are killing us Losi's....

There's a difference. The black belt does make a noticeable difference in the acceleration of the car.

Anybody need a black belt kit? Call 319-362-1291 (Box Karr Hobbies). Store opens at 10 a.m. central time. There was only one left hanging for $17.95.

No reason they should be. Work on your bearings a little and free up the drivetrain.

I was gonna say the same thing David said, if they are out accelerating you, your motor and batts could be in question as well. Blow the grease out of all the bearings and it'll free up the drivetrain a ton. I do this after every 2 racedays.

There are a couple of things I am going to try, including the new belt.. The only thing is... if it was just me that this was happening to, I could understand something being off with my setup(motor, batts, etc), but this was with every other Losi as well...

Thanks for the input..

I won expert stock at Mikes a few weeks ago with the worst stock motor I've ever had and before I got my new belt. The Xrays aren't any faster then the Losi. Its all about setup and gearing and how free your car is.

How did you gear your car? I am running a 27/128(64 pitch) with a Putnam Binary2...

Thats your problem. Ditch that motor. Its got no punch at all. Get you a good monster stock and start about 31/128. Run is a few mins and check the heat. If its too hot the go down a tooth. That quad mag stock is just....whats a nice word....slow.

Ok, I have a good Monster that I am using in my 1/12th scale... I will put that it and try it..

Thanks for the help David. I really didn't want to ditch my Losi because I really like it. I need some more practice time..

I should have my new belt this week...
