The black belt requires the use of the new, longer tensioner arm and the larger idler pulley... I tried cutting every other tooth off one of my black belts and really didn't like the feel of it... I'd say stick with all the teeth...

at least for the time being

Randy,

Not sure I follow...Why wouldn't I want ceramic diff balls for low traction surfaces; or, are you talking about switching out to a one-way for that situation?

Do you also use ceramic balls for the thrust bearings?

Adding "weights on spur gear"!?! What's that about?

I guess it doesnt matter so much for stock as it does for mod, but it's much easier to drive a car with more rotating mass when there is less grip on track, because you are less likely to get wheelspin.

hey XXX-Bill,

Did you get your Black Springs?

I left them on your table but forgot to ask you if you got them.

Thanks again for the borrow.

have you tried the blue belt with every 2nd tooth removed?

so far for me this has still been the best solution (especially on tracks where top speed is important).

for a few bucks.. it's definatly something worth experimenting with

I didn't know that he entered. That does blow. It's going to be a fun event though. 19 turn looks to be huge. I can't believe most of the mod guys that I know are running 19 turn. The A main in 19 turn is going to be killer if people can get their motors tuned right.

Thanks for that insight! In stock, I sure don't have that problem.

Yeah, I definately got my work cut out for me in mod. My goal is just make the A main, but it's gonna be hard to be faster than anyone but a few people in mod...

Yeah, it definately isn't a problem in stock, but mod is another story.
