i run 24 and 28 also....and it is for rubber tires...the car was a little tight...if you have 24 for all corners try that or increase your rear oil, i was going to reduce the rear toe.....i also had a oneway in the car...

Default One Way

Does anyone have a picture of the oneway they can post on this thread? I'm interested to see what they look like before mine comes in.

Thanks in advance.

Bob

grinch77--

First, put the wheels on the car, get it loaded to full race weight, then set the ride height. Then take the wheels off, and hold the flat part of the droop gauge under the chassis between the suspension arms. The stairstepped part of the gauge with the numbers should be out under the arm and the hub carrier. Set the tweak screw so that it lifts the arm until the hub carrier is at the desired setting on the gauge. I run 3 in front and 5 in back.

Hope that's clear enough, it's easier to do than it sounds here once you see it done...

What is the first impression on the one way? What types of tracks do people like them on and any set up changes that you have felt made the car better w/oneway?

Thanks

Jeff

Cool

Well I just got thru with racing and man that one way is a god sent and a demon all in one. The car goes thru turns quicker and seems to have a lower than normal spin out rate. With my normal tires my car would spin out in one or two particular turns but with the one way I was going thru these turns more aggressive. I got to one point in a race when I did spin car and I turned that into a slide job,did that on a 90 degree turn right after a cichain(sp?).

The demon part comes in the form that you do not know when it will spin and the car is super agresive in turns. You say turn and it turns now and with now traction roll either or that is how my car behaved. But something else I just remembered, the car would sometimes seem like it did not want to steer at all and had a major push but then all of a sudden cleared up. Wonder if that is because one wheel spins more than the other, looks like another bearing job!!!!

Wonder what an over-drive and a one way would do? heheh

Harshguy

Thanks for posting the pics of your one-way. But why would you need a spare one? Are they known to break easy?

Thanks

Bob

I haven't broken one yet ...ask anyone that knows me, I have a spare of *EVERYTHING*. I don't want to be in a situation where I'm racing, something breaks and wherever I'm racing at is out of stock or doesn't carry the part.

The track that I am thinking about running the oneway on has good traction and my Losi never feels to loose. I have actually been taking away bite from the car...freeing it up. a few of the Tc3 guys are running the oneway in their car and I was just looking for some hint/suggestions.

Thanks for any info.

Jeff

Does anybody know where Jason Corl got his set of polished titanium screws for the XXX-S (RCCA October 2001)? Or for that matter, does anyone know where I can order these screws online? Thanks.
