I'm going through the car right now since it's torn down and grinding excess material off some parts. The rear diff cover has a ton of extra material in the bottom rear part, that's a great place to start shaving off some grams for those interested.

i meant with the "common sense" was to go down to your lowest carpet spring, then go up, if your really loose right now, being tight might be better?

one more thing. 1 thing i did, was when i had no traction, i never could get traction if i wanted to, i wished i would traction roll, so i went to my softest setup, so i did traction roll, and went up to where i am now, that was a good path for me to take.

It's personal preference...the QC2 is what I run in my cars along with LRP recievers. But the novak gt7 and keyence zero-v extreme are also nice units.

Half the people will say qc2, half will say gt7 and there will always be a few others in the mix too. I'd also think about waiting for Novak's new ESC, it seems to be running really well, dont know when it'll be avalible though.

While we are talking speed controls. I've only used it one weekend so far, but the lrp quantam 2 doesn't seem to have enough drag brake. I went to program #5 on the setup for drag brake and still had to put 4 ticks in the throttle trim to get the thing to have enough drag brake. Has anyone else experienced this? I don't like messing with the throttle trim to get drag brake because it screws up your throttle band.

Interested to hear some thoughts on this.
