You can kinda see bubbles on the bottom on the chassis in the lines, plus the where the chassis has been dragging you can see the original chassis color. Its a sticker.

That would be sick though. I saw a car a while back that used the Losi drivetrain on a double deck CF chassis. Can't remember where I saw that though. Anyone else seen it?

I said Aqua Design because of the 23T motor in the car (me thinks) so I assumed the car was from Jland and well...AD has a carbon fiber print process that they use on all kinds of complex shapes. But it does rub off like a sticker if it gets dragged on the ground.

I think you are talking about the XXX-S prototyp cars. These had the final drivesystem and the double deck CF chassis.

No, I've seen them too. This was a production car. I think it was a Japaneese company if I remember right. I remeber I couldn't read the website so I had no idea what the company name was. But they did have price lists and such.

It looks like a well built car. Anyone had any experiance with it? Noticed the drive train is moved forward quite a bit compared to the Losi. Didn't notice that the first time I saw it.

Default Ordering the new black drive belt kit LOSA3280

The complete LOSA3280 long black drive belt conversion kit now comes up on the Horizon Hobby website. As of now, they have not received any inventory. I understand that Horizon owns Losi.

Horizon's website won't accept an order for something that is out of stock; however, if you call their sales department (800/338-4639), they will accept a backorder. They expected more kits in two weeks. Cost was $19.95 each set plus tax and shipping.

Otherwise, I also have an order into my lhs for one too (edit).

Have at it.

i sent in my preorder at my lhs last week, after the first time the part# was given. For anybody that uses the epic B2 stock, and races on a trackside size track, without the long straight(very tight), what gearing you do? Thats a description, lol.

Whoever told you that at horizon is full of it. There is no way they could sell out of an item that haven't recieved yet. They JUST added it to the system today. How could you order something without it being in the system, not to mention we JUST found out the part number last week. I spoke to one of my reps and they expect the FIRST shipment in late next week.

Pro3 - The layout last tuesday, I was running like 9.36 for gearing. It was a really open track though...

I've run as low as 23/128 and as high as 25/128 with the Binary at trackside.

Hi EddieO,

Horizon has been VERY helpful and courteous in my recent transactions with them. I own 3 XXX-S cars and a JR XS3.

I suppose the Horizon ordering system just indicated 'Out of Stock' to the sales guy that helped me today.

Regardless, I wanted to tell XXX-S people a method for getting an order placed with Horizon by going through the Sales Department as opposed to their website. That way, they get themselves in line for the new belt kit.

Otherwise, I placed a separate order for the kits with my lhs because I have a lot of Losi friends to help knock a tenth or two off their times.

Good racin'
