Nice. I actually hate In & Out. Nasty greasy fries and I don't like fast food burgers. Are you moving back here or just visiting? I actually live in Lakeside. I know, out in the sticks. LMK when you're in town. We've got Parking lot racing in Poway and off road right now in Santee.

I agree, In and out is the worst. I went there once 3 years ago and I'll never go back. Other guys from here love it though. Oh well, I'll take Jack in the Box anyday over In and Out.

Here's a belt cutting tip, I a Fly Fisherman. I used my fly tying scissors to cut teeth off. My scissors is surgial quailty brand.. Scissors made quick work on the belt. They almost made a cleaner cut too. My fiskar brand scissors aren't cutting it...

The nail clipper works well. Mr. Losi (on this board) gave me that tip.

Nail Cutters that's a good idea! I was right in the middle of cutting second belt (my back-up) Went to grabbed nail cutters... They work just as well too. If not better.

yeah, I thought about that, but going into the main the car was driveable so I figured I'd deal with it. I'm prob. going to go racing tomorrow and I am going to try a few things. Now if you look at Todd's setup advice he gave me, he said go with the 4f, .020' shimms under the LRC blocks. I was going to try the 2f block mounted in teh same location. That's a middle ground change from where I was to where I am,

I found a tool even better than nail clippers, I used what girls call nippers on my belt. They look like mini pliers but for girls cuticules (sp?) that they use at nail salons and stuff. I would have never thought to use these but my roommate seen me trying to use nail clippers and said to use her nippers. They worked awesome. If you are going to modify your belt, try some nippers.

Thumbs up

I did the "cut every other tooth" thing to my belt today and my Losi felt much faster everywhere on the track.
Thanks, Kevin K, for telling me about it.
