Default Need Rubber/stock setup

Can anyone help me with a setup for rubber tires/stock motor? I saw Paul and Todd's setups on the Losi site, but they are using 27s all the way around. I was told most guys at my track are using 27 front and 22 rear. So can I use those setups, or will they change? With 27s all around today, my rear end was loose. Thanks!

With 22's the car should have more rear grip. However, they are also more prone to being overheated if you overdrive the car, so be careful. I've used Sorex 28/24's with Todd's setup and it worked well.

does anyone have a lot of spare parts(graphite), they would want to sell. X-mas coming up, and i want to save my mom some money other than buying every thing brand new, hehe, just thinkin. Mostly just some a-arms, or a graphite chassis, one or other.

Default Weekend project

Hi Losi drivers. I am going to have a fun weekend. Blew off my girlfriend for this weekend so I could rebuild my car. Man all she ever wants to do is make me happy, doesn't she understand how important rebuilding my car is????

Lets see- To Do List:

1. Cruise by LHS to pick up a new chassis as this one warped (this chassis melted and warped from warm motor). My LHS carries lots of chassis for TC3. Never noticed them carrieing LOSi chassis in large quantities.
1a. rebuild shock, make sure I have the right amount of air in shocks so all rebound the same.
2. Spend Saturday grinding chassis to move batteries.
3. Get rid of @^@&* steering rack, install NTC3 steering system.
4. Throw away soft hinge pins, get BRP pins.
5. Get Losi steering nuckles (no more wobbling ball studs) and Losi rear hubs as stock units are of a poor design.
6. Buy new arms as set screws stripped out when I installed new arms. I wonder if LOSI arms fit?
7. Order aluminum pin carriers as stock hinge pin carriers are super soft plastic and tear easily = front and rear $$$$$
8. Stop by ae web site to see if they have any odd theories as to why they should not fix their molds to make parts right.
9. Spend time at church and pray TC3 will handle well for more than a week after this work.

OOOOOOOps, brain fart. This isn't the TC3 thread. I just purchased a used XXXS and even though it has been slightly abused it drives great. Wait a minute. New To Do List. Call girlfriend and kissup. Spend weekend with her and have fun. Man this is the Life. I guess I could paint a new body new week. LOL.

What is the difference between a XXX-S and a graphite Plus. Besides the material the parts are made of, and the yellow belt, are they the same car?

Charles- Welcome to the world of the competeive, and reliable racing car!!

This past weekend I went racing and decided to run my silvercan motor, in the first 2 heats I ran lap times that where only 0.15 sec. slower than the fastest stock times!!!!! AND ETHAN can drive too!!!! BTW: he was running his new Losi....LOL...... His fastest was 7.45 and mine was 7.59!!!! Wish I had left the silvercan in for the main!! stripped a spur....... too bad......

one more thing...i noticed a dramatic changed on power when exiting corners...on on-road asphalt/concrete track my car pulls much much stronger than on carpet...weird...is anyone ever noticed this or tis just me?
